As a result of the health crisis, related to the epidemic caused by the appearance of the new SARS-CoV-2 virus and its rapid expansion, especially among health personnel, the need to find a solution that protects health workers arises, while doing their usual work. From MOS, an EPI device has been entirely designed and developed that allows the Decathlon diving mask to be adapted into a face protection kit.

It has been decided to incorporate a filter from other sectors with high filtering performance and long durability, superior to FFP3 filters. To join mask and filter, a connector has been designed that was initially made with 3D printing and then a mold has been produced to make this injection.
